I was invited by SLAQR to create 4 interstitials animations for the FXX show Cake on Season 5 Ep. 8 Magic Touch. I then invited an amazing animator, Tony Holz, and we made the work together. 

The theme of the episode was about conquering fears and revealing the ideas of ghosts and magic within them. As we were given full creative freedom, Tony and I wanted to begin each animation with an abstract concept of fear being contained in a subject or a surrealistic environment. Then, the fear essentially transforms into another shape which is the idea of being defeated and free.
